DDG Reveals He and Halle Bailey Have Broken Up

After leaving DDG, Halle Bailey is now spending more time with her son.The Little Mermaid actress, 24, posted a number of pictures of herself and DDG’s kid Halo on Instagram on Friday, October 11.

This was her first post since the rapper, 26, revealed the couple’s breakup earlier this month. The singer can be seen posing in the gym mirror and carrying her baby boy as she starts the carousel.

Another adorable photo shows Halo playing with water close to his mother’s legs while Bailey unwinds in a pool. “Life is beautiful 🩷🥰,” the beaming mother wrote as the post’s caption.

Along with the photographs, Bailey included the Destiny’s Child song “Survivor” in her Instagram Stories post.

On Thursday, October 3, DDG sent a statement to his Instagram Stories. It said, “Dear friends and fans, Halle and I have made the decision to part ways after giving it some thought and having some really emotional chats.

Though it was a difficult choice, we think it’s what’s best for us both moving forward. I treasure the time we’ve had together and the affection we exchanged.”

“Our love for one other is everlasting and pure, even with the changes in our relationship. We still think the world of each other and are great friends,” DDG said. After becoming romantically involved in January 2022, the couple brought Halo into the world in late 2023.
