Actress, Simeon Narrates Child Custody Battle With Ex Husband

Doris Simeon, a Nollywood actress, discusses the difficulties she had throughout her lengthy custody battle with ex-husband Daniel Ademinokan.

Simeon revealed in an emotional interview on Biola Bayo’s Talk to B show that the event left her feeling “frustrated and depressed,” but she kept her grief hidden from others owing to her strong familial upbringing.

Simeon recalled that her kid was just four years old when Ademinokan relocated him to the United States, and her role as a mother has been limited since then.

She confessed that her final opportunity to properly be a mother to her son came when he was only three years old. Attempts to communicate, she said, were frequently met with silence.

According to Doris, Ademinokan would occasionally reject her calls, and even when he did answer, he would quickly become “busy,” making further communication difficult.

She says

“I might have been at fault, but so was he. That’s why I said I didn’t feel anything when they married, but the only problem is that he refused to let me mother my child.

“That is the only painful part.”He stole my son without my consent; he was just four years old when he arrived in the United States.”

“He was three years old the last time I mothered my child. I called, but he didn’t answer, and when he did, he said he’d call me back because he was busy, and I didn’t get through for another 3 to 4 months.
