Barry Burbank is a retired news anchor and meteorologist for the WBZ-TV Weekend News. Having launched his career with WBZ-TV in 1978, Burbank is the longest-tenured Morning Meteorologist in the region. He joined WBZ-TV in 1978 as the network’s weekend meteorologist after starting his career at WCSH-TV6 in Portland, Maine two years earlier. Barry started his career soon after graduating from college. After spending two years as a weather forecaster at WCSH-TV6 in Portland, Maine, he moved to WBZ-TV in 1978 and worked there as a news anchor and meteorologist until his retirement.
