First Bank has launched a state-of-the-art digital self-service banking facility in Abuja.

On Tuesday, First Bank of Nigeria Limited unveiled a state-of-the-art digital banking branch facility in Abuja. The Group Managing Director/Chief Executive of FirstBank, Dr. Adesola Adeduntan, expressed his enthusiasm for the launch of the FirstBank Digital Experience Centre (DXC), stating that it is a significant milestone for the bank.

He emphasized that FirstBank, with its long history of nearly 130 years, has successfully navigated through various challenges in the ever-changing banking industry.

Adeduntan also highlighted the bank’s commitment to investing in advanced technology infrastructure, pioneering digitalization, and offering more than 42 million customers a convenient and secure banking experience.

The fully automated digital branch, the first of its kind in Nigeria’s banking sector and the third to be established by FirstBank, represents a new era of digitized operations, eliminating the need for tellers or human staff.

The MD expressed excitement about the opportunities that await our valued customers, both current and potential. They reassured customers of our continued commitment to customer-driven innovation and cutting-edge digital abilities.

The MD stated that our objective is to constantly reshape the customer’s journey, enhance effectiveness, and create extraordinary interactions with customers.

Throughout the years, FirstBank has introduced numerous customer-focused digital platforms and groundbreaking products such as the FirstMobile App, Lit App, FirstOnline internet banking, FirstMonie, USSD (*894#), and Chat Banking, among many others.
