Ice-T net worth: Tracy Lauren Marrow is an American rapper who goes by the stage name Ice-T. He is also a singer and actor who was born in Newark, New Jersey but moved to the Crenshaw district in Los Angeles.
After completing his high school education, he joined the United States army where he served for four years. Before becoming a star, he basically lived a street life where he sold stolen things and peddled drugs to survive.

Ice-T whose real name is Tracy Lauren Marrow was born on February 16, 1958, in Newark, New Jersey, in the United States.
His mother was a Creole named Alice Marrow, while his father was Solomon, an African-American who was employed at Rapistan Conveyor Company as a mechanic.
Though he lived in a neighbourhood where racism was high while growing up, he escaped the taunts and uncomfortable situations because of his lighter skin which he got from his Creole mother.
By the time he was 12 years of age, he had lost his parents. He was left with the option of going over to View Park-Windsor Hills, near Los Angeles to live with his aunt’s family. He shared space with Earl his cousin who was a big-time rock fan.
Ice soon became interested in rock and heavy metal music. He was sent to Palms Junior High after which he attended Crenshaw High School. Gangism was a big part of the school system while he was in high school.
Members of the Bloods and Crips gangs who were students attended Crenshaw High School and often fought in school.

Ice-T started rapping in 1981. Six years later, he came forth with his first studio album titled ‘Rhyme Pays’. It became the very first album which consisted of a sticker for explicit content in the history of Hip-Hop.
In his career so far, he has released a total of eight solo albums, including Home Invasion, Gangsta Rap, The Seventh Deadly Sin, and Ice-T VI: Return of the Real. He has worked with many record labels including Century Media, Sumerian, Sire, Saturn, and Priority.
