Johnny Knoxville is an American actor, comedian, and stunt performer. Also a filmmaker, he is best known as a star and co-creator of the MTV stunt show Jackass, which aired for three seasons starting from 2000 to 2002.
A year later, the actor and other stars of the reality show returned for the debut installment in the Jackass film series, with two more installments getting before 2010.

Philip John Clapp was born on March 11, 1971. His father, Philip Clapp was a car salesman, and his mother’s name is Lemoyne Clapp. While he was young, he experienced his father make practical jokes on the family and this impacted him greatly. He attended South Young High School graduating in 1989.
Being a good student, Johnny earned a scholarship to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, but he studied there for only two weeks before dropping out.
