Popular media personality and content creator, Kolu, has publicly appealed to fellow entertainer Carter Efe for a ₦7 million loan to help secure the release of controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable. The appeal followed Portable’s recent arrest by the police over allegations reportedly bordering on assault and related offences.

In the broadcast, Kolu openly asked Carter Efe to assist him financially so that Portable could meet his bail conditions and regain his freedom.
