Mercy Aigbe Reveals Main Reason She Married Her Husband

Mercy Aigbe, a Nollywood actress, discusses her reasons for marrying well-known movie marketer Kazim Adeoti, better known by his stage as Adekaz.

Aigbe clarified in a Nollywood on Radio interview that her marriage to Adeoti, whom she married as a second wife in January 2022, was motivated by their same career goals.

Mercy Aigbe talked about her decision and the benefits of marrying someone in the same field, emphasising how their collaboration advances their shared objective of creating a production empire.

“We work in the same field, which is one of the reasons I married him. We are constructing an industrial empire together.”

“I simply felt that I needed someone with whom I could work in the field, and it’s fortunate that he shares that sentiment.”

“The future appears bright when we combine our abilities,” she said.

“Given that it was Aigbe’s third marriage, it is noteworthy that their union generated public attention, with both supporters and detractors offering their opinions on her choice to take a second wife.”

A number of public disputes also resulted from their marriage, including Funsho, Adeoti’s first wife, who recently forbade her husband from going to her 50th birthday celebration.

Aigbe stressed that her attention is on the future she and Adeoti are constructing together in Nollywood, regardless of the discussions surrounding their union.
