He married Rachel S. Kellogg and they became the parents of Natasha and her siblings.

Natasha Bertrand’s journalism career began in college. She attended Vassar College and graduated with a B.A in political science and philosophy.

While a student of the prestigious college, Bertrand joined the school newspaper known as The Miscellany News as an op-ed columnist and assistant editor where she helped prepare the contents of the publication, developed ideas, wrote and edited op-ed pieces, verified every detail, and assigned writers.
