CDCFIB Clarifies Dress Code for Medical Screening
In a statement issued on June 19, 2026, CDCFIB explained that there is no special or official dress code for candidates attending the medical screening exercise.
The Board stated that applicants are only expected to appear in decent and appropriate clothing.
It warned candidates to ignore messages directing them to wear specific uniforms, colours, or special outfits, noting that such instructions did not come from the Board.
The clarification is expected to address concerns among many applicants who have been seeking information about the screening requirements ahead of the exercise.
Candidates Do Not Need to Bring Credentials
CDCFIB also clarified another issue that has generated questions among applicants.
According to the Board, candidates are not required to bring their academic certificates or other credentials to the medical screening venue.
The Board explained that document verification will not be conducted during this stage of the recruitment process.
As a result, applicants should focus on attending the medical examination as scheduled and follow instructions from officials at their designated screening centres.
Beware of False Recruitment Information
The Board advised candidates to rely only on information released through its official communication channels.
It noted that false recruitment-related messages often circulate online, especially during important stages of recruitment exercises.
Applicants have therefore been urged to verify any information before acting on it and avoid being misled by unofficial announcements.
CDCFIB emphasized that any message instructing candidates to wear a particular dress code or bring credentials for the medical screening should be disregarded.
