The Police Service Commission (PSC) has announced the release of the final shortlist for the recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
According to the Commission, candidates who sat for the recruitment examination can now log in to the recruitment portal to check if they have been selected.
Successful applicants will also receive notification through the email address and phone number used during registration.

Candidates can check their recruitment status by following these steps:
- Visit the official PSC recruitment portal: https://npfapplication.psc.gov.ng
- Log in using your application details.
- Check your recruitment status.
- If shortlisted, print your call-up slip for the next stage of the recruitment process.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the portal for additional updates and instructions.
Nigeria Police Screening Date 2026
The next stage of the recruitment exercise is the medical screening and documentation process.
According to the PSC, shortlisted candidates are expected to report to their designated Police Training Institutions on the dates and times stated on their call-up slips.
Applicants who fail to report within the stipulated period will be considered to have declined the offer.
Candidates who do not pass the medical examination conducted by the Police Medical Team will also be disqualified from the recruitment exercise.

Shortlisted candidates are expected to report with the following:
- Printed training call-up slip
- National Identification Number (NIN) slip
- Bank Verification Number (BVN) slip
- Original copies of academic certificates
- Photocopies of academic certificates
- Birth certificate
- Certificate of origin

Candidates whose names appear on the shortlist should report only on the date assigned to them.
