Davido Declares 'Timeless' As Best Album He Has Made

The Grammy nominee said that he enjoys urban fashion and adapts his look to suit different settings when asked what influences his sense of style.

“They claim that because I adore urban fashion, I like to look like a rapper. For a casual style, I adore donning T-shirts, jeans and trainers.

I’ll be wearing a suit when it comes time to pick up the cash. I occasionally wear Agbada as well,” Davido revealed. Regarding which of his albums he believes is the best, Davido awards his fourth album, “Timeless,” which broke records, as the winner.

When it was released on March 31, 2023, Davido’s song “Timeless” became an enormous hit. First-day and first-week streaming records were set by the album on Boomplay, YouTube, Audiomack, Spotify Nigeria, and Boomplay.

A Grammy nomination for Best Global Album was received for the album. It also gave rise to two successful records: “Feel,” which was nominated for Best Global Song Performance, and “Unavailable,” which featured Musa Keys and received a Grammy nomination for Best African Song Performance.

Davido stated in the interview that his upcoming album will be superior. He stated as much when he hosted American content maker Kai Cenat earlier this year.

Taking about, Kai Cenat he made somebody a millionaire in Nigeria.

During one of his trips in Lagos, the content creator gave someone $5,000; he didn’t realise at the time that he had just made the unknown beneficiary a millionaire.

Upon discovering that his donation amounted to ₦8 million, the 22-year-old was taken aback by Adesokan ‘Shank Comics’ Emmanuel, the Nigerian comic serving as his tour guide in Lagos.

One of Cenat’s goals upon arriving in Lagos was to ensure that he gave back to the community, especially to Makoko, which is among the poorest slums in Nigeria.

Subsequently, he was brought to the riverine region known as Makoko. During his visit to the Children’s Development Foundation School and orphanage, he met the 23-year-old principal.

The kids gave him a warm welcome and expressed their gratitude and applause. According to reports, Cenat gave roughly $3000 towards the expansion and refurbishment of the orphanage and school.

Back to Davido, his highly awaited next album is scheduled to debut with the release of his joint project with Jamaican artist YG Marley.
