Mr Jollof Charges VDM To Court On Grounds Of Defamation

Mr Jollof, a well-known socialite, serves Verydarkman a writ of summons and sues him for N500 million for allegedly defamatory remarks he made about his wife.

It should be noted that the two had a disagreement a few weeks ago, during which Verydarkman claimed that Mr Jollof’s wife had done something that enabled him, Mr Jollof, to acquire a post as SSA.

The writ of summons uploaded by Mr Jollof online showed that the activist has 30 days to appear in court or face the repercussions.

Furthermore, the claimant, Mr Jollof, is seeking N500 million in damages for defamatory remarks he made.

Recall, in July, footballer Victor Osimhen sent a strange message days after comedian Mr Jollof blasted him out for blocking him.

Mr Jollof chastised Osimhen for barring him on Instagram after he commented on the footballer’s strained relationship with former coach Finidi George.

Osimhen took to social media to convey a cryptic message on the bitterness that accompanies success and blessings.

Without mentioning Mr. Jollof, Osimhen wrote, “Your blessing comes with side effects.” Expect a lot of jealous, bitter, gossipy people. But preserve your joy, anyway.”

In other news, Mr Jollof had claimed that artist Burna Boy declined a N1 billion offer to perform at a concert organised by him and some investors.

He added that they approached the musician’s team with an offer of $1 million (N1.3 billion) for the event in Warri, Delta State, which his team declined because it was less than the singer’s fee.

The comedian confirmed this in a recent Instagram post.

Mr Jollof wrote in Pidgin English, “I and several investors approached Burna Boy’s management about a concert in Delta State for one million US dollars (1.3 billion Naira now). Guess what? “They said it was too small.”
