Ecobank to Host Landmark Art Exhibition
Ecobank Nigeria is preparing to host a significant art exhibition titled “Enduring Legacies, A Collector’s Tribute to Masters,” which promises to shine a spotlight on the enduring creativity and cultural influence of some of Nigeria’s most respected visual artists.
Scheduled to take place from August 30 to September 21, 2025, the exhibition will be held at the Ecobank Pan African Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. This special event will showcase a remarkable private collection featuring works by iconic Nigerian artists whose contributions have helped shape the country’s rich visual art scene.
Visitors can expect to see masterpieces from renowned names such as Bruce Onobrakpeya, Twins Seven Seven, Kolade Oshinowo, Muraino Oyelami, Moses Unokwah, Jimoh Buraimoh, Rufus Ogundele, Oyerinde Olotu, Lamidi Fakeye, Sam Ovraiti, Ben Osawe, Tola Wewe, Ini Brown, Alex Nwokolo, and Tony Enebeli. Each piece reflects the unique vision and talent that have earned these artists a lasting place in Nigeria’s artistic heritage.
Austen Osokpor, Ecobank Nigeria’s Head of Corporate Communications, described the exhibition as a heartfelt tribute to these artistic giants. The private collector behind the showcased works, KrabHouse, expressed pride in sharing such a valuable collection with the wider public.
