'I have never spoken to Bobrisky' - Falana Reveals

Human rights activist and lawyer Femi Falana has addressed the charges surrounding the ‘presidential pardon’ involving himself, controversial crossdresser Idris Okuneye, commonly known as Bobrisky, and his son, Falz, for the first time.

It wasrevealed in September that social media personality Martins “VeryDarkMan” Otse shared a leaked audio clip of Bobrisky accusing Mr. Falana and his kid on his Instagram page.

In the audio recording that was leaked, Bobrisky claimed that when he was locked up at Kirikiri Correctional Centre, Mr. Falana and his son had called him to offer assistance in obtaining a presidential pardon provided that he (Bobrisky) pay Mr. Falana N10 million.

In response to the accusations, Falz demanded that VeryDarkMan recant his claims and issue an apology within the next 24 hours.

In response to the claims, Mr. Falana denied ever getting in touch with Bobrisky in a Thursday interview with Seun Okinbaloye on Channels TV Politics Today.

“I have never met Bobrisky, and he has never spoken to me,” he declared. There are rumours that he spoke with my son Falz.

According to my son, Bobrisky contacted him on May 4th, requesting N3 million to be housed in the prison’s VIP section, where he was hoping for particular treatment.

“My son asked him if he was calling under the authorisation of the prison superintendent, and he said no. He was advised not to call again by my son because he would not help bribe jail officials.

In addition, he cautioned him and reminded him that he was already serving a jail sentence for another offence.

“If you need to get in touch with me again, please send a letter endorsed by the prison administration or through the superintendent,” my son pleaded. And that concluded things.
