“I was raised in a family that values respect” – Davido

Contrary to popular belief, Afrobeats musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has stated that he hails from a respectable home.

He clarified that his occasional mistakes as a well-known person do not indicate that he was not raised properly. During a Saturday courtesy visit to the Olu of Warri in Delta State, Davido gave a speech.

“My parents were excellent parents. I come from a very polite background, but as OBO [star], I might act inappropriately sometimes,” he said.

Remember how Wizkid recently lambasted Davido’s family, saying the crooner of “OBO” was not respectful.

“When u see people wey dem papa and family train, u go know! U don’t see my uncle dancing online!” Wizkid wrote on his X handle, alluding to Davido’s uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, who is known as the ‘Dancing Governor’ because of his numerous dance videos online.
