McKenna Announces Her Baby Name To The World

Megan McKenna and fiancé Oliver Burke have welcomed their first child, a beautiful baby boy.

The 32-year-old former TOWIE actress revealed the happy news that she had given birth to a baby boy on Monday, October 7, along with a video reel of his early days.

The pair could be seen hugging their newborn son in a variety of beautiful videos, happy to be in their baby bubble. Megan announced their baby’s name in the caption, writing “Landon Henry Burke” along with the date and hour of his birth.

Megan and Oliver, 26, who recently moved to Germany for his football career, chose an English-sounding name for their baby boy, Landon, which means “long hill” according to NameBerry.

While it is widely used as a surname, Landon has grown in popularity throughout the years, ranking 97th out of 1,000 in the United States.

Other celebrities who have chosen the nickname include Blink-182 musician Travis Barker and American Idol finalist Josh Gracin, who both called their boys Landon, with Travis also using it as his middle name.

Landon Donovan, a former US footballer, also goes by this name.

Several celebrities, including Julia Roberts, Colin Farrell, Minnie Driver, and Heidi Klum, have named their sons Henry.

According to NameBerry, Henry is derived from the French Henri, which derives from the “Germanic name Heimrich, made up of the components ‘heim’, meaning ‘home’ or ‘estate’, and ‘rich’, meaning ‘ruler.’

” While the pair has yet to marry, they became engaged in June 2023 and gave their infant son the surname Burke. After posting the news of his arrival, followers went to the comments section to wish Megan and Oliver congrats.
