The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has opened applications for NANSInnovate 2026, a national innovation and entrepreneurship competition for Nigerian students with business ideas and existing ventures.

The programme gives student entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase their ideas, connect with investors and industry experts, and compete for cash prizes worth millions of naira.

According to NANS, the initiative is designed to help students whose business ideas may struggle to move beyond the classroom because of limited access to funding, mentorship and business opportunities.

The NANS National President, Comrade Akinteye Afeez, popularly known as BABTEE, encouraged eligible students across the country to take advantage of the opportunity.

What Is NANSInnovate 2026?

NANSInnovate 2026 is an entrepreneurship and innovation programme created to support Nigerian student entrepreneurs.

Students who take part in NANSInnovate 2026 could benefit from:

  • Pitching their business ideas to investors and industry experts.
  • Connecting with business leaders and potential investors.

  • Accessing funding opportunities.
  • Receiving recognition for their entrepreneurial efforts.
  • Competing for cash prizes worth millions of naira.

NANS says the top 20 student entrepreneurs will receive cash prizes to support and expand their businesses.
