The scholarship programme is offered by the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture (Renaissance JV) and is designed to promote academic excellence while supporting young Nigerians pursuing higher education.

About the NNPC Renaissance JV University Scholarship
The NNPC Renaissance JV University Scholarship is a merit-based programme created to support outstanding Nigerian students in accredited universities across the country.
Successful applicants will receive annual scholarship support for the duration of their undergraduate studies, subject to the programme’s conditions and requirements.
The scholarship is available under two categories:
National Merit Award (NM)
This category is open to qualified students from all parts of Nigeria.
Areas of Operation Merit Award
This category is specifically for students who are indigenes of Renaissance operational communities located in:
- Bayelsa State
- Delta State
- Imo State
- Rivers State
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a citizen of Nigeria
- Must be a full-time undergraduate student in an accredited Nigerian university
- Must currently be in 200 Level
- Must have gained admission during the 2024/2025 academic session
- Must not be receiving any other scholarship from an oil and gas company, whether local or international
Students who do not meet the requirements may not be considered during the selection process.
