Popular Actor, Moses Korede Passes On Today

Nigeria’s gospel film industry is in a gap with the death of veteran Mount Zion actor Moses Korede, affectionately known as Baba Gbenro.

His coworker, gospel actor and producer Oluwaseun Adejumobi, relayed the heartbreaking news in a memorial he uploaded on Instagram an hour ago.

Adejumobi lamented the actor’s passing while honouring his legacy, writing,

“”Heaven’s Gain Again!” next to a picture of him. A general has taken a nap. In a different tweet, he included a movie clip of Baba Gbero along with the words, “Rest on! Jesus Korede Are is an evangelist.”

“Your Life Was Deserving! Our challenge is to continue living a decent life! We Face a Challenge to Continue Pursuing Our Goals! We Face the Challenge of Pursuing Eternity as Our Ultimate Goal!”

Baba Gbenro was well-known for his parts in the hit Mount Zion movie series Abattoir, where he made a lasting impression with his stirring depictions of fortitude and faith.

In addition to being an actor, he was a key player in Christian drama ministries.

He founded the Calvary Movies Drama Ministry, which has its headquarters in Ogbomoso, Nigeria, and he was the CEO of Calvary Movies Television.

In addition to expressing their condolences, fans and colleagues have celebrated his life and contributions to Christian ministry and entertainment on social media.

Many people consider him a “general” in the field of gospel play, and his influence will be remembered with fondness.
