The Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (EKSUBEB) has released the first batch of 500 successful candidates from its 2026 teacher recruitment exercise.
Candidates who applied for the recruitment can now check the released list to confirm whether their names are included.
The notice, signed by the Permanent Secretary, DayMike Omolayo, states that successful candidates are to undergo credential verification before collecting their appointment letters.
EKSUBEB First Batch List
The first batch contains 500 candidates selected for appointment with EKSUBEB.
Candidates whose names appear on the list were directed to report to the Office of the Director, Administration and Supplies, EKSUBEB, for verification and collection of appointment letters.
Appointment letters will only be issued after the required credentials have been verified.
EKSUBEB Verification Date and Venue
The verification and appointment letter collection was scheduled as follows:
- Date: Monday, September 21, 2026
- Time: 1:00 p.m.
- Venue: Office of the Director, Administration and Supplies, EKSUBEB
- Requirement: Original copies of credentials
Shortlisted candidates should have the original copies of their relevant certificates and credentials available for the verification exercise.

What About the EKSUBEB Second Batch?
The released notice identifies the list as the first batch of successful candidates.
A second batch has not been included in the current list. Candidates whose names are not in the first batch should therefore check for further announcements from EKSUBEB rather than assuming that the entire recruitment exercise has ended.
The Board may provide additional information on subsequent batches when available.
