Hurricane Milton Prompts John Daly’s Quick Exit from Tampa, After Helene Left His Home in Ruins
John Daly says he has evacuated Tampa, Florida, as Hurricane Milton approaches the area, weeks after admitting that Hurricane Helene damaged one of his family homes.
On Wednesday, the 58-year-old took to Instagram to offer a message to his followers, saying: “Here we go again – Sending prayers A for all of us who have family, friends, and neighbours that are threatened today by #Milton.”

Daly also posted a radar image with an arrow pointing to his home, stating that the storm is expected to hit at 8 p.m. local time on Wednesday evening.
Forecast models predict that the storm’s eye will approach Tampa around midnight on Wednesday. Two inches of rain per hour is anticipated.
