Content Creator, Phoebe States Reason She’ll Not Marry

Controversy surrounds Nigerian content producer Phobe’s decision to stay single, which she attributes in large part to her physical attributes.

The content creator talked candidly about social pressure to get married in a recent Instagram video.

Phobe said she is frustrated by the expectations society has for marriage and that she is not swayed by criticism of her choice to stay single.

She went on to say, “Don’t you all realise that I’m a gorgeous girl? I shouldn’t let one man have all of this.”

“That isn’t logical. I’ll find someone to assist me establish a family and have a child when I’m forty. I don’t need a man for anything because I’m already financially stable.”

Speaking further, she stated, “Can’t you all see I’m a beautiful girl? I shouldn’t give all this up to just one man. It doesn’t make sense”

“When I reach 40, I’ll look for someone to help me start a family, and I’ll have a child. I’m already financially secure and don’t need a man for anything”

Recall, Mercy Aigbe discusses her reasons for marrying well-known movie marketer Kazim Adeoti, better known by his stage name Adekaz. Aigbe clarified in a Nollywood on Radio interview that her marriage to Adeoti, whom she married as a second wife in January 2022, was motivated by their same career goals.

Mercy Aigbe talked about her decision and the benefits of marrying someone in the same field, emphasising how their collaboration advances their shared objective of creating a production empire.

We work in the same field, which is one of the reasons I married him. “I really thought I needed someone to partner with in the industry, and it is a good thing that he understands it too.”
