“A Ghetto Love Story” Gathers N22M In Box Office
Following the multiple great reviews and buzz the picture generated during its pre-official cinema premiere, it is unsurprising that this love drama will generate these figures so early in its release.
FilmOne Entertainment, a film distributor, announced its latest milestone on Instagram.
“A Ghetto Love Story is at the top! This film grossed more than 22.3 million Naira at the box office this weekend. “Thank you for showing this movie love and support,” the post read.
The film, based on genuine events, is presently screening in Nigerian cinemas.
Victoria ‘Mhiz Vic’ Eze wrote and co-produced this video, which combines humour, raw passion, and authenticity to offer a realistic portrait of love and survival in the ghetto.
A Ghetto Love Story demonstrates Basketmouth’s ability to shift from simple comedy to storylines that entertain while provoking thinking.
The plot revolves on two lovers, Obinna (Akah Nnani) and Stella (Beverly Osu). When their link is tested by harsh reality, their relationship becomes even more convoluted as they work their way out of a chain of events.
A Ghetto Love Story is really about resilience, the complexity of love, and the harsh realities of life.
Patience Ozokwor, Wale Ojo, Basketmouth, Beverly Osu, Chimezie Imo, Daniel Etim Effiong, Dorathy Bachor, Efe Irele, Ehiz Okoeguale, Dibor Adaobi, and Femi Jacobs round out the cast.
