CDCFIB CBT Results Released: Shortlisted Candidates to Proceed for Physical Screening and Document Verification

 

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially released the Computer-Based Test (CBT) results for candidates who participated in the online examination conducted in November 2025 as part of the 2024/2025 Recruitment Exercise.

Candidates who are successful at this stage will advance to the next phase of the recruitment process, which involves physical screening and document verification.

The Board has advised all applicants to check their status through the official recruitment portal and carefully follow the instructions provided.

Shortlisted Candidates to Proceed to Physical Screening

According to the Board, candidates who are shortlisted after checking their CBT status will be required to complete additional steps before participating in the physical screening exercise.

Successful applicants will need to:

  • Log into the recruitment portal using their Application Number generated during registration.
  • Upload the required academic and personal credentials.
  • Select their preferred date and venue for physical screening from the available options.
  • Carefully follow every instruction displayed on the portal to avoid disqualification.

Applicants are encouraged to complete these steps promptly within the specified period.

How to Check Your CBT Result

Candidates can verify their recruitment status by visiting the official CDCFIB recruitment portal during the designated period.

Steps to Check:

  1. Visit the official CDCFIB recruitment portal.
  2. Log in using your Application Number.
  3. Check whether you have been shortlisted.
  4. If successful, upload the required documents.
  5. Select your preferred screening date and venue.
  6. Follow all additional instructions provided on the portal.

The status verification portal will be available from Monday, 15 June to Friday, 20 June 2026.

Recruitment Is Completely Free

The Board has reiterated that the entire recruitment exercise is free of charge.

Applicants are strongly advised not to pay any money to individuals or groups claiming they can:

  • Facilitate shortlisting;
  • Secure screening venues;
  • Upload credentials on behalf of applicants;
  • Guarantee selection;
  • Influence the recruitment process.

No agent or third party has been authorized to collect fees or provide special access during the exercise.

Beware of Fraudulent Messages

CDCFIB has also warned applicants against fake recruitment announcements circulating on social media and messaging platforms.

Candidates should ignore:

  • Fraudulent recruitment links;
  • Individuals claiming to represent the Board;
  • Requests for payment or processing fees;
  • Unofficial screening invitations.

All genuine recruitment information and updates will only be communicated through the official CDCFIB recruitment portal and other approved communication channels.

What Shortlisted Candidates Should Do Next

Applicants who find their names among the shortlisted candidates should prepare all required credentials ahead of their selected screening date.

They should also ensure that the information uploaded matches the details provided during the initial application, as discrepancies may affect eligibility during document verification.

Candidates who are not shortlisted are advised to continue monitoring official announcements for future recruitment opportunities rather than relying on unofficial sources.
