Fatherhood Has Given A$AP Rocky a New Attitude: 'I'm Totally a Dad Now

Becoming a father has changed ASAP Rocky. While speaking with W Magazine for their cover story on Tuesday, October 8, the rapper, 35, revealed how becoming a parent to his kids RZA, 2, and Riot Rose, 14 months, whom he shares with long-time lover Rihanna, 36, has changed the way he sees the world.

“That s— changed my swag,” he told the publication, confessing, “I’m such a dad, it’s f—ing hilarious.” He continued to address his new schedule as a father of two, saying, “I haven’t been to the gym in weeks.

When I get home, my kids are already in bed, sleeping. I depart, they [sic] are still asleep. “But the sacrifices we make to produce something substantial…”

The joyful father of two explained, “Once you become a parent, you just embody that, no matter what.”

When asked how Rocky and Rihanna divide and conquer their parental tasks, Rocky replied, “I think we both have our niches, our things that we do that we’re good at.”

“She could never be a great father because she is a great mother,” he said with a smile. “And I could never be a great mum, because I’m the greatest dad in the whole wide world.”

Earlier in the conversation, Rocky discussed which son is more like himself and which is “just like his mom.” “I suppose RZA will keep to himself. “He is an introvert,” the proud father told the site.

He went on to say, “RZA is more like his father and like myself. “And he is my twin.”

Although RZA resembles Rocky, “he got his mom’s forehead.” He went on to say, “I love my boy’s large forehead! “I loved it on his mother.” “But he got everything else from me,” he told me.

The father of two also informed the newspaper that Riot and RZA already share a special bond, stating, “Riot looks up to RZA. “I believe RZA is warming up to Riot.”
