FRSC Releases 2026 Recruitment Screening Exercise Guidelines And Dates

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has released the schedule and guidelines for the 2026 recruitment screening exercise, giving applicants important information about when and where the screening will take place.

The recruitment exercise began on 3 July 2026, when the FRSC recruitment portal was activated and eligible Nigerians were allowed to submit their applications.

According to the latest screening schedule, the exercise will take place simultaneously across the 37 Sector Commands from Wednesday, 19 August to Friday, 21 August 2026.

Applicants who took part in the recruitment exercise should pay close attention to the dates and instructions below.

FRSC Recruitment Screening Dates 2026

The screening exercise will be conducted according to the applicant’s cadre.

The schedule is as follows:

  • Tuesday, 18 August 2026: Arrival of FRSC Headquarters screening teams
  • Wednesday, 19 August 2026: Officer Cadre screening
  • Thursday, 20 August 2026: Inspectorate Cadre screening
  • Friday, 21 August 2026: Road Marshal Assistant (RMA) Cadre screening
  • Saturday, 22 August 2026: Departure of FRSC Headquarters teams

Applicants should make sure they know the cadre under which they applied and attend on the appropriate date.

Where Will the FRSC Screening Take Place?

The screening exercise is scheduled to take place simultaneously across the 37 FRSC Sector Commands.

Applicants will attend the screening in the state they selected as their preferred screening venue during the application process, regardless of their state of origin.

The FRSC recruitment portal itself includes a field for applicants to select their preferred physical screening venue.

Important Guidelines for Applicants

Applicants should take note of several instructions concerning the screening exercise.

Representatives of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) are expected to observe the exercise. The screening teams have also been directed to provide the necessary cooperation to the FCC representatives.

Applicants should also ensure that the information provided during screening corresponds with the details submitted during the recruitment application.

Special Identification for Drivers, Riders and Artisans

Applicants who applied for positions such as drivers, motorcycle riders or articulated vehicle drivers are expected to be properly identified under the relevant category on their screening forms.

The same applies to applicants seeking artisan positions.

These include trades such as:

  • Tailoring
  • Plumbing
  • Mechanics
  • Technical work
  • Other skilled trades

Applicants should ensure that their specific trade or area of specialisation is correctly indicated.

The FRSC recruitment portal also lists drivers, riders and several artisan/tradesman positions among the available recruitment categories.

When Will FRSC Screening Documents Be Submitted?

At the end of the screening exercise, documents from the various Field Commands are expected to be forwarded to the Office of the Corps Secretary.

The deadline given for submission is Monday, 24 August 2026.

Applicants should therefore ensure that they complete the screening process and provide the required documents within the specified period.

Applicants are advised to regularly check the email address they used during the recruitment application.

Any physical screening invitation or further recruitment instruction may be communicated through the applicant’s registered contact details.

If you have forgotten your FRSC recruitment login details, the official portal provides options for password recovery and resending an activation email.

Thing to Take Note of : 

The FRSC 2026 recruitment screening exercise is scheduled for 19 to 21 August 2026, with different dates assigned to the Officer, Inspectorate and RMA cadres.

Applicants should attend at the screening venue selected during their application and keep checking their email for any invitation or additional instructions.

Do not rely on unofficial recruitment links or messages. Always confirm important updates through the official FRSC recruitment platform.
