Kate Henshaw Sparks Uproar With Recent Comments Regarding Woman Who Prefers Yahoo Boys

Kate Henshaw, a Nollywood actress, ignited uproar with her response to a young lady who explained why she loves dating Yahoo boys than working-class men.

In an interview that rapidly went viral online, the lady rationalised her decision, claiming she liked dating Yahoo boys because they “spoil their babies.”

To emphasise her point, she stated that Yahoo boys live a lively, club-going lifestyle, whereas working-class men expect their women to stay at home and cook—a lifestyle she dislikes.

“All of these old men over 30 are from the working class; there aren’t any under 30 who refuse to press. I prefer Yahoo Boys because they exude clubbing vibes. Working-class people will not take you to the club; yahoo lads will, and your bag will be full.”

Kate Henshaw responded to the contentious statement with a harsh warning on social media, comparing it to escalating ritual instances involving young girls.

“Na so they’ll take a portion of you for the ritual.

She wrote: “Yeye mindset.” Henshaw’s response has sparked a mix of emotions, with some admirers applauding her for cautioning against glamorising the lifestyle of Yahoo boys, while others challenged the woman’s perspectives on relationships and societal standards.

Recall, Kate Henshaw has expressed worry over Nigeria’s pedestrian laws, claiming that they are poorly respected in comparison to those in other nations.

In an interview with News Central TV, the actress emphasised the need of understanding pedestrian etiquette and orderliness, which she believes are often lacking in Nigeria.

Kate stated, “It is recommended to travel the world or to as many countries as one can afford in order to understand how others function in their civilisations.

To demonstrate how orderliness can be an attitude that must be adopted. One thing I’ve seen is that pedestrians have more authority in industrialised countries than they have here, because if you don’t drive a car, you’re considered persona non grata.”
