Netflix Announces Ebuka As Host For “Lights, Camera”

Netflix has officially announced Ebuka Obi-Uchendu as the event’s host, which will take place on November 2, 2024.

The award-winning host will host the event, which will highlight and commemorate Nollywood stars, veterans, and stakeholders’ accomplishments in the business.

Ebuka, a seasoned media figure, is frequently ranked among the most important characters in Nigeria, and he has repeatedly shattered the internet with his fashion sense and remarkable costumes.

This year’s theme, “Pioneers, Pillars, and Players,” honours the legends who built the groundwork for Nollywood, the off-screen masterminds—directors, producers, and crew members—who keep the industry operating, and the dynamic performers who captivate audiences across the world.

The event, which aims to highlight Nollywood’s finest by commemorating trailblazers, behind-the-scenes heroes, and on-screen stars who make the industry shine, frequently attracts industry experts, music artists, and celebrities to the stage.
