Peter Obi Claims That Those Who Receive Money After Prayer Should Be Arrested
Famous business entrepreneur and politician Peter Obi discusses why a person who claims to have received an alarm through prayer should be detained.
He made the statement during an interview with the popular podcast Honest Bunch.
According to the former presidential contender, God rewards efforts and hard work. He went on to say that God praises productivity and industries when they work hard.
He did, however, point out that simply sleeping in one’s bed does not guarantee financial prosperity.
Peter Obi stated that anyone who claims to have gotten money through prayer should be arrested since he most likely stole someone else’s money. Watch him speak below.
Still on the same interview, Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential contender, suggested that gender may influence levels of corruption, with women being less corrupt than men.
On the Honest Bunch podcast, Obi ascribed this to women’s strong family values and commitment to societal advancement.
Reflecting on his stint as governor of Anambra State, Obi discussed his experience appointing women to prominent positions in his administration.
He explained that women’s family-centered viewpoint motivates them to make decisions that benefit society, which he feels can lead to more ethical governance.
Obi stated, “Women are less corrupt.” They are less corrupt than males. And since they have families, they are more determined to make things work.
“When I was governor, my Chief of Staff and commissioners for Education and Planning were all women.”
Oladele Oyelude, the Director-General of the Tinubu-Shettima Ambassadors, a campaign group that supported President Bola Tinubu in the 2023 elections, has dismissed attempts to use opposition to the tax reform bill to cause friction between the North and President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 election.
Oyelude, an All Progressives Congress (APC) leader in Osun State, emphasised that people who oppose the bill should engage with their National Assembly representatives to address any concerns rather than inciting regional conflict.
