Toke Makinwa Reveals Red Flag She Looks Out For In A Man
“If I meet a guy who runs his ex down, he’s never going to hear from me again,” she stated in a recent interview with Madame Joyce.
“He isn’t over his ex, and he won’t be interested in me if I meet a guy who is constantly talking about her.
If a guy compares his situation to mine, I will never communicate with him again. Along with cautioning women against falling for guys who disparage their former-partners”, Makinwa added, “Your vagina is not made of gold, what he did to his ex, he can do times two to you.”
“Every lady is crazy in every guy’s book, therefore if my ex-boyfriends spoke about me to you, you’d believe I’m the crazy one since everyone would tell you stories about me.”
“It’s easy for a guy to paint a picture while you’re with him by saying’she was crazy.'” I always tell women that nigga going on about how insane she is is the one that made her crazy,” she continued.
“As women, I feel like we have this saying that it can’t be me. Madame Joyce said, “We have this it can never be me syndrome.”
As for that, Makinwa said she’s trained to never say, ‘It can never be me,’ since reality quickly degrades people.
“I never say it can never be me because at 6pm that night,” Makinwa retorted. Since I don’t know your story, I don’t pass judgement on others.”
“I’ve heard people say that it can’t be me and that life will grab you at six o’clock that evening, so I respond, “May God grant us mercy.”
One thing I’ve discovered is that, although we’re the best arbiters of others, we present our case when it’s our turn.
