Wizkid Drops 6th Studio Album

Nigerian music artist Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has released his highly awaited sixth studio album, Morayo.

The album, published on Friday, November 22 by Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records, is yet another highlight in the singer’s storied legacy.

The album’s title, Morayo, which translates as “I see joy” in Yoruba, is a highly personal tribute to Wizkid’s late mother, Juliana Morayo Balogun, who died in August 2023.

Wizkid previously praised the emotional inspiration for the project as his best work yet, tweeting in July, “Best album I ever made!!” Now, listen! It’s only up from here!”The album’s title, Morayo, which means “I see joy” in Yoruba, is a deeply personal homage to Wizkid’s late mother, Juliana Morayo Balogun, who passed away in August 2023.
