Wizkid Teases December Concert In Lagos, Shares Posts

On November 26, 2024, Wizkid shared a photo of himself on Instagram with the caption “Lagos December”. Fans are excited about the post since the description hints that Wizkid will perform in Lagos in December.

The Grammy nominee has dominated headlines with the release of his new project ‘Morayo’, which has shattered many Spotify records, becoming the album with the most opening day plays by a Nigerian artist.

The album contains 16 tracks and has five guest performances by Afrobeats hitmaker Asake, French artists Tiakola, French/Gabonese vocalist Anais Cardot, and American stars Jasmine Sulivan and Brent Faiyaz.

If Wizkid performs in Lagos this December, it will be his first concert since 2022, when he headlined one of the Flytime Fest dates.

Observers will also be looking to see if Wizkid follows through on his promise that his 2022 performance will be the final time his fans in Lagos pay to see him perform.

Following the release of ‘Morayo’, Wizkid is scheduled to tour, and Lagos might be the first place to see his new album performed live.
