Requirements for Action Against Hunger Recruitment 2026
Accountability Officer – Abuja
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Management, Social Research, Development Studies or a related field.
The role requires at least two years of relevant work experience, knowledge of accountability systems and feedback mechanisms, and good interpersonal and computer skills.
Candidates who can communicate in English and local languages such as Hausa, Fulfulde or Kanuri may have an advantage.
Audit, Risk, Compliance & Safeguarding Head of Department – Abuja
Candidates for this senior position should have a master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Law or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, CPA, CIPFA, CRMA or CISA are an advantage.
Applicants should have at least seven years of relevant professional experience, as well as strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is also required.
Enumerators (Pool) – Borno State
The Enumerator position is open to candidates with an O’Level qualification or diploma.
Applicants should have experience or exposure to field data collection and be able to communicate effectively in English and relevant local languages.
Teamwork and good verbal and written communication skills are required. Previous experience working with an NGO may be an advantage.
Field Monitors (Pool) – Borno State
Applicants should have at least a diploma and experience supervising field data collection or working in a related role.
Candidates should be fluent in English and relevant local languages, including Hausa, Kanuri, Shuwa and Fulfulde.
The role also requires good planning, teamwork and communication skills, particularly when working with multicultural teams. Previous NGO experience may be an advantage.
Medical Stock Officer (Pharmacist) – Katsina
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and maintain membership of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN).
At least two years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or medical stock management is required.
Candidates should have a good command of English, while the ability to speak Hausa is an advantage. Applicants should also be familiar with Action Against Hunger’s mission, values and policies.
Project Coordinator – Katsina
Candidates should have a master’s degree in Project Management, International Development, Public Health or a related discipline.
The position requires at least five years of relevant experience and a good understanding of project cycle management, planning, budgeting and reporting.
Applicants should also understand humanitarian principles, standards and safeguarding frameworks, including the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) and Sphere standards.
Good written and spoken English is required.
