He emphasized that the Nigerian Army maintains a strict policy against indiscipline and would not tolerate actions that compromise its integrity. “As an organization built on the principles of discipline, justice, and accountability, the Nigerian Army has a zero-tolerance policy towards indiscipline. We will not overlook any misconduct or illicit actions that could jeopardize our core values and principles,” he added.

Onyema reassured the public that the allegations would be investigated comprehensively, and appropriate disciplinary measures would be taken if the findings warrant such action. “The Nigerian Army is committed to ensuring that both our internal and external stakeholders are informed that a thorough investigation will take place. Appropriate administrative measures will be implemented based on the outcomes of this investigation. Our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency is resolute,” he stated.

He also assured that the investigation process would be conducted fairly and impartially, adhering to established protocols. “We guarantee that the process will be conducted in a manner that is fair and in line with our institutional procedures,” he concluded.
