Startups developing technology solutions to real problems in Nigeria can now apply for the NITDA-Tech Revolution Africa Builders Festival ’26.
The program is designed to connect promising startups with government agencies, corporate organizations, investors and institutions looking for technology solutions to specific challenges.
Applications are open to startups working in areas such as healthcare, EdTech, logistics, supply chain, artificial intelligence, cloud, data, AgriTech, connectivity, FinTech and e-governance.
What Is the Builders Festival About?
The Builders Festival will connect selected startups with real challenges submitted by Nigerian government agencies and corporate organizations.
More than 100 institutional challenges have been identified, while more than 50 high-growth startups are expected to be pre-qualified for potential deployment opportunities.
The identified challenges include digital civil registration, satellite infrastructure, cargo monitoring, customs risk profiling, library management, SME finance, cross-border payments, patient identification, vaccine supply chains and smart infrastructure.
Selected founders will have the opportunity to demonstrate their products directly to organizations with identified technology needs.
What Can Selected Startups Get?
The program provides startups with opportunities to explore:
- Investment from venture capital and angel investors
- Government innovation support
- Pilot projects with government agencies and companies
- Potential contracts and business opportunities
- Direct access to institutions looking for technology solutions
- Product and go-to-market masterclasses
- Meetings with potential customers, partners and investors
The organizers have announced a ₦3 billion investment and contract pipeline involving venture capital, angel investment and government innovation support.
Selected startups will also have an opportunity to participate in a deal room during the Digital Nigeria International Conference ’26, where founders can discuss potential pilot agreements and memoranda of understanding with participating institutions.
Who Can Apply?
The program is aimed at founders building practical and scalable technology solutions for Nigerian needs.
Startups do not need to be limited to one particular technology sector. Solutions in healthcare, finance, agriculture, education, logistics, AI, data, connectivity, government services and other technology fields can be considered.
The selection process will consider factors including:
- Market traction
- Product maturity
- Team resilience
- Readiness for deployment
The program is looking for startups with products that are already in use or close to deployment. Ideas still at the research stage are not the main target of the program.
Application Deadline
Applications for the NITDA-Tech Revolution Africa Builders Festival ’26 will close on Monday, October 5, 2026.
Successful startups will be invited to showcase their solutions at the Digital Nigeria International Conference ’26, scheduled for November 10 to 12, 2026, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Center in Abuja.
