The Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) has called on eligible students from oil-producing communities in Ondo State to apply for its 2024/2025 Scholarship and Bursary Scheme following an extension of the application deadline.
According to the commission, the application deadline has now been extended to Monday, June 1, 2026, giving qualified applicants additional time to complete their registration and upload all required documents.
The announcement was made in an official notice signed by the Executive Chairman of OSOPADEC, Prince Olabiyi Olaeye Poroye.
Why the Deadline Was Extended
OSOPADEC stated that the extension became necessary to give prospective applicants enough time to complete their registration process and submit all required documents successfully.

“This extension is in line with the Commission’s commitment to ensuring that all prospective applicants are given adequate time to complete their applications and submit all required documents.”
