Paulo Defends Davido, Says He Never Lied
Popular music promoter Paulo responds to Nigerians criticising Davido for claiming that the country’s economy is in tatters.
It should be noted that Davido recently gave an interview in which he warned African Americans who wish to come home to Nigeria.
He had taken note of the circumstances back home, disclosing that things are not so bright in Nigeria, mentioning the economy as one example.
Following this, various politicians and Nigerians confronted Davido about the statement.
Paulo had chastised them while telling them to leave him alone. According to him, Davido did not lie about what he said because the country’s economy is genuinely in horrible shape.
“He said…” “Please make Una leave Davido alone, mad people.” Davido told the truth. Nigeria’s current economic situation is quite terrible.”
“With global enterprises leaving and local businesses suffering big losses, it is apparent that we are facing issues. Let’s face reality and work towards a better future. God bless Nigeria. = PaulO”
Recall, Paulo calls Afrobeats star Burna Boy the richest Nigerian musician, revealing the astronomical sum he made four years ago.
He made this revelation while conversing with popular podcaster Daddy Freeze via internet video chat.
According to Paulo, Burna Boy is the best-grossing Nigerian artist, and his biggest earnings came four years ago. He mentioned that Burna Boy earned between $80 and $100 million four years ago, in 2020.
Paulo indicated that what he earns now, and possibly two years ago, is not equivalent to his wages four years ago.
