UK Music Scene: Coldplay’s ‘Moon Music’ Dominates as Fastest-Selling Album of 2024
Moon Music has already sold over 160,000 chart units in 72 hours and is on track to have the best week for a British act on the Official Albums Chart since Adele’s 30 debuted at number one with 261,000 chart units in 2021.

The 1975’s 2022 chart-topper Being Funny In A Foreign Language is poised for a Top 10 re-entry (6), thanks to the release of an exclusive, limited-edition liquid-filled vinyl, while ’80s star Alison Moyet’s Ice (7) aims for her first Top 10 album in 11 years (and sixth overall).
