FRSC Recruitment 2026 Portal Now Open – Apply for Officer, Marshal Inspector and Road Marshal Assistant Jobs

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has started its 2026 nationwide recruitment exercise for qualified Nigerians.

The recruitment is open to candidates with different educational qualifications, including SSCE, ND, NCE, HND and university degrees. Successful applicants will be employed into the Officer Cadre, Marshal Inspectorate Cadre and Road Marshal Assistant Cadre.

FRSC has also made it clear that the application is completely free. Applicants are advised not to pay anyone for the recruitment process.

Available Positions

The vacancies are grouped into three cadres.

Officer Cadre

Applicants with higher qualifications can apply for the following positions:

• Superintendent Route Commander (SRC) – CONPASS 11: MBBS or an equivalent degree in Medicine.
• Route Commander (RC) / Deputy Route Commander (DRC) – CONPASS 10/09: B.Pharm, B.Sc Nursing, BMLS, LLB/BL, B.Eng or B.Tech.
• Assistant Route Commander (ARC) – CONPASS 08: B.Sc, BA or HND from a recognised institution. Applicants must have completed the NYSC programme.

Marshal Inspectorate Cadre

This category is for candidates with:

• NCE
• ND or OND
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Registered Midwife (RM)
• Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) certificate

Successful applicants will be recruited as Marshal Inspector II or Marshal Inspector III.

Road Marshal Assistant Cadre

Applicants with SSCE can apply for:

• Road Marshal Assistant II
• Road Marshal Assistant III

Candidates must have at least three credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.

FRSC is also recruiting drivers, riders and artisans with relevant trade skills such as:

• Driving
• Motorcycle riding
• Auto mechanics
• Electrical installation
• Plumbing
• Computer operation
• Tailoring
• Other technical trades

Applicants in this category must have a Trade Test Certificate or another recognised professional certificate.

General Requirements

Before applying, make sure you meet the following conditions:

• You must be a Nigerian by birth.
• You must be medically fit.
• You must have good character and no criminal record.
• You must not be financially indebted.
• You must be single at the time of application.
• You must be physically and mentally fit for paramilitary duties.
• Male applicants must be at least 1.65 metres tall.
• Female applicants must be at least 1.56 metres tall.
• You must have a valid email address and phone number.

Applicants will also be required to present a medical fitness certificate from a government hospital during the recruitment process.

Age Requirements

The age limit depends on the position you are applying for.

• Officer Cadre: 18 to 35 years
• Marshal Inspectorate: 18 to 30 years
• Road Marshal Assistant: 18 to 30 years
• Articulated and Tow Truck Drivers: 26 to 40 years

FRSC has warned Nigerians that the recruitment exercise is 100% free.

The Corps also advised pregnant women not to apply because of the physical demands of the training.
