Get Ready for a Disney-Packed 2025: ‘Freakier Friday’ and ‘Lilo & Stitch’ Release Dates Revealed

The official release dates for two of Disney’s highly awaited films, Freakier Friday and the live-action Lilo & Stitch, have been revealed! In 2025, both films will be available in theatres.

Fans learnt on Friday, October 11, how long they will have to wait for the nostalgic projects to come.

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Lilo & Stitch will make its debut on May 23, 2025. On August 8, 2025, a few months later, Freakier Friday makes an appearance.

The latter endeavour is the follow-up to 2003’s Freaky Friday, starring Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis. Even though the plot is yet unknown, Lindsay just gave fans a sneak peek at some information.

The 2002 original Lilo & Stitch gets a makeover in the live-action version. In case you missed it, a star from the first film will make an appearance in the sequel!

A full cast list for Freakier Friday is also available. Notably, every star from the first film returns, save for two.
