Stanbic IBTC Bank is recruiting Client Service Officers for positions in Ibadan, Osun and Ogun States.

The roles involve serving customers at branch locations, processing banking requests and transactions, resolving complaints and supporting the delivery of banking products and services.

Stanbic IBTC Client Service Officer Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Responding to customer enquiries, including requests relating to cheque books and other branch services.
• Managing ATM cards according to approved procedures and completing daily reconciliations.
• Processing requests for off-cycle account statements and applying applicable charges.
• Maintaining accurate records and supporting documents for customer requests and transactions.
• Processing authorized value transactions and coordinating verification with the relevant team leader.
• Processing cash transfer instructions according to established procedures.
• Recording and updating customer complaints and maintaining the required documentation.
• Identifying customer needs and promoting relevant banking products and services.
• Participating in branch sales and customer service activities.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of a First Degree.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience with banking products, financial services regulations and compliance procedures.
• Previous branch banking experience.
• Knowledge of consumer banking products and services.
• Understanding of banking processes and procedures.
• Good communication and active listening skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Good task and time management abilities.
• Ability to follow established procedures and meet service timelines.
• Ability to handle customer complaints calmly and professionally.
• Ability to identify risks and manage telephone-based customer interactions.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues as part of a team.
